Who operates this store?
Hearthwell is a UK retailer at 48 Viscount St, Manchester, M14 5UH, United Kingdom. We sell and ship from Manchester. We do not manufacture anything we sell — the brand on each listing is the manufacturer. Email contact@hearthwell.site.
Are these genuine branded products?
Yes. We stock B&Q Marketplace, BillyOh, Biohort, Empire, Forest Garden, Globel, Keter, Livingandhome, Marlborough, Mercia, Palram - Canopia, Rowlinson, Shire, Suncast, Waltons, Yardmaster. Each product page shows the manufacturer, the stock code and, where the manufacturer issues one, the barcode (GTIN). Nothing is relabelled as a Hearthwell product.
How does payment work?
Stripe Checkout is the only payment method, and it runs on this site. We do not take WhatsApp, PayPal or “message to buy” orders, and we never ask for card details by email or phone.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery is UK-only. UK mainland delivery is Free on every order. Dispatch is 1–2 working days; transit is typically 3–7 working days. Larger sheds travel on a pallet and the carrier books a delivery slot with you.
Is anything assembled for me?
No. Everything is supplied flat-packed for self-assembly, and the product page says how long the manufacturer expects that to take and whether two people are needed. We do not offer a fitting service.
Do I need a base?
Yes. Every shed, store and cabinet needs a level, solid base — concrete, paving slabs or a proper timber frame — that matches the external footprint on the listing. Bases and anchor kits are not included unless the listing says so.
What if I need to return something?
You have 14 days to cancel a distance contract under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, plus our own 30-day window for unused items in their original packaging. You pay return postage unless the item is faulty or not as described.
Do you ship outside the United Kingdom?
No. Delivery is UK-only, and free delivery covers the UK mainland. We contact you before dispatch if your postcode falls in Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isles of Scilly and the Channel Islands.

What does the guarantee cover?
The guarantee is the manufacturer's, not ours, and its length is printed on each product page — typically 10 to 20 years against rot or corrosion. Timber guarantees on dip-treated and untreated stock depend on you applying a timber treatment as the manufacturer instructs. Email us first with a fault and we will raise the claim with them.
Are the photographs of the exact product?
Product photography is supplied by the manufacturer and shows the model on the listing. Finishes can differ slightly between production batches, and staging items such as plants, tools and furniture are never included.
How do I track my order?
Use Track your order with the Stripe reference from your receipt. We reply with dispatch status and carrier details once the parcel or pallet is on its way.
